Eval

  • MAX31855; SPI
  • Simple stm32f042 with 32KB flash; 16KB might be tough due to lot of periphery
  • Send temperature every X seconds
  • 10nF across T+/T- (Datasheet recommendation)
  • Eval kit has 0603 BLM18PG471 ferrit beans in series to sensor on T+ and T-; 470 Ohms @ 100 MHz; Current Rating (Max) 1A; DC Resistance (DCR) (Max) 200mOhm
  • 100nF across VDD/GND
  • No further power injection
