Eval¶

Vom Bett aus kann ich nicht mal Licht ein- oder ausschalten.
Ein akkustischer Alarm kann auch nicht quittiert werden.
Theoretisch reicht ein einzelner button.

Realization¶

Slider would not have adequate resolution.
Usecase is only on/off. Single Button could do the job.
Fancy ring would be nice.
90°-LEDs zeigen alle nach 'innen'.
LEDs

0602 actually is 0603 when lying. diameter of 2mm is needed. No much space to hide. Just glow from bottom.
red + green.

Having it look like an mini-CANDis.

LEDs:

• Orange, low ambient light
• Blue, bright ambient light
• Red, alarm

PCB¶

30x30mm; viel zu klein, touch keys koennen nicht mit ground hinterlegt werden.
60x60mm; mit "Bauch"; 3 keys; etwas gross
40x40mm; mit "Bauch"; On/Off+Mode; Bauch nur 5mm hoch

border 5mm; thick enough for LWL? There are some with 2mm diameter

Dimensions¶

1 + 3 + 1,6 + 2 + 1 = 8,6 thickness
CANDis is only 6mm? probably 8mm

MCU¶

• STM32L552CCT6 way too big
• STM32F042 has a touch sensor controller according to datasheet, copilot says "no".

To be verified¶

• Use Miniminutnik Acryl plates to check if text is readable/illuminated
  • Looks very nicely
• Prepare STM32F42x eval board
  • On touch area directly, another via JST
  • CANBus
  • Debug
