Moving it around libraries is anoying.
Libcampo would be best location because its quite campo specific.

The cmake mechanism is to depend on something that will not be created.

Usecase:
Print application version
Application print library versions

Only a single version file in the build root directory and everybody can use it?
Depency-Problem. This can be solved.
