Route the ground to an GPIO so it can be disabled and will be disabled when powered off.
Or even use an NMOS.
I measured around 10M resistance to GND/VDD on disabled device.
N-Channel Mosfet, 20V:
I_dss 100nA;
Direkt an Pin:
3 / 10M 10000000 = 0,0000003 = 300nA
